Trip names are copied from your own Horseback Trips page. The right-hand column is empty because the live site publishes neither a price nor a date for any of them — that is what this concept exists to fill, not something it invents.

Also offered

Cabin rentals, nightly or as part of a riding package · Winter activities · Corporate groups and retreats · Summer kids' horse camp

What we found

01

The kids’ camp dates on your site are from 2024

The summer horse camp is advertised for “June 25, 26, 27 and 28, 2024”. A parent looking now for something for their child is reading a camp that ran two summers ago, and there is nothing on the page telling them when the next one is.

02

A row of digits is showing through on two pages

The home page displays “12345” and the trips page displays “1234”, both as plain text in the middle of the content. They are the slider controls leaking through the design. Nobody who built the site would leave them there on purpose, which is exactly why they are still there.

03

Nine trips, and not one price

Hour rides through to a three-day pack trip to Grizzly Mountain, and none of them carries a figure. Somebody comparing a Yukon riding holiday against two others has numbers for the other two.

04

The Tombstone trip says to email for dates

It is the most spectacular thing you offer and it is the one with no dates at all. “Please inquire by email” is a reasonable answer for a bespoke trip and a costly one for a trip somebody was ready to book.

None of this is a criticism of the outfit. A riding season runs from the first thaw to the first snow, and nobody who works it has an evening free to edit a website in July.

What already works

The range is genuinely unusual

An hour in the saddle, or a week. A salmon bake, a steak dinner, a picnic, a mountain. Very few outfits can meet a family and a serious rider on the same page.

Cabins as well as horses

Nightly rentals and riding packages both. That is a second season and a second kind of guest, already built.

It reads like people, not a brochure

The writing is plain and warm and it does not oversell. That is worth keeping exactly as it is.

What would change

01

Next year’s camp, with this year’s dates

One date, at the top, from the day it is decided. It is the single most searched thing you offer and it is currently two summers stale.

02

A from-price on every trip

Nine numbers, written once. Nothing else on this list changes as many enquiries into bookings.

03

A trip page you can actually read

Length, what is included, what to bring, how hard it is. At the moment the whole page is under fifteen hundred characters, which is less than this paragraph and the last one together.

04

Turn off the slider numbers

Two minutes, and the pages stop looking half-finished to somebody about to spend a week with you.
